Shane Mac

Shane Earl Jones previously known as Shane Mac is a Hip Hop/ Rap musician, entertainer, model and aspiring actor in the Up Town Monticello, New York Area.  Growing up with his pops he was like a philosopher at home with a sense of humor.   His father always told him not to be no punk  and that if he has a problem to find the solution.  So Shane never has problems only solutions.  The seeds of his career as a rapper were sown early on, when he was seven and started writing poetry.  By age twelve, he set the words to make beat. A few years later, while attending Sunny Sullivan, he met rappers from Harlem and the Bronx.  They excited his imagination and inspired him.  But while their words spoke of getting high on drugs, his spoke of “getting high on life.” He relates that as he matured, his “horizons expanded.” He “had seen plenty of bad things, and wanted to approach it differently.”  He wanted something “more soothing” than most rap, something that would heal.   Shane Mac feelʻs that all rappers are all different and that you have to  vent out your own gas not some energy that was already formed and is being duplicated and that is what Hip Hop is about it changes, new trends come but he has to set that status quota than drop something that'll have the masses looking at that last drop like its garbage.  Shane Mac has been rapping since 12 with his younger brother WeSs Bezel.  They both saved up money (lunch money, digging in couches when my dads friends left, pennies helped lol) & bought a mic.  Then Shane and WeSs downloaded a program to record their music.  It has been on since then, Starlite baby!  They knew exactly what they wanted to do with their musical career from then on.  Shane Mac went on a fall tour from Atlanta, Georgia to the east coast  with So So Defʻs artist Royce Rizzy and also worked on projects with Rizzy there after.    He opened up for Helter Skelter in the past as well and plans on working with Tyler the creator in the future.  Shane Mac feels that Tyler the creator seems crazy and finds his personality very exciting.  Other than that anybody that makes dope music Shane Mac would like to work with.  Making a go of it in the arts can be tough. But his family life, in which both parents worked hard to support their four children, with strict discipline and a no-nonsense attitude towards meeting responsibilities, has given Shane a firm anchor.  Shane not only raps his principles of healing and helping, he lives them each day: a few years back, he had just seated himself on a subway train in the Bronx when he noticed that the woman sitting opposite had bare feet, no shoes, no socks.  He looked around and saw that none of his fellow passengers had taken notice. He contemplated saying something, but knew they would shrug her off with something like: “She probably sold her shoes to buy drugs.” So without uttering a word, he removed his own shoes and gave them to her, as he departed the train. Leaving the subway station, he walked shoeless into the chilly autumn night to get his car.  Dmx was a big influence on Shane Mac coming up.  Shane believes DMX was the trigger that brought the street feel with the ruff riders anthem.  That just blew Shaneʻs mind  how he could make a track from the heart and talk about pain and joy.  Shane Mac has interviewed with radio shows 98.3 wsul undergroundhiphopnation and Talk of The City in Virginia Beach, VA at www.hiphophighlights.com for single "JawBreakerS" by Shane Mac ft. WeSs Bezel and has recently been interviewed by "The River Reporter" a newspaper in Sullivan County, NY and upper Delaware area.  Shane Mac keeps in mind that there is no time to waste complaining and he is definitely on top of his business at the gate and will get it correct one way or another.  Now age 26, Jones character shaped by early experiences at home and with peers, he strives to create harmony in a society which is often racially divisive. The good people are more powerful than the bad, even if outnumbered, because love is stronger than hate.  Shane has noticed that a lot of news you get from social media, TV, newspapers, is full of anger and violence. But, now is the time to try to flip it, to show the other side of reality.  This is Shane’s message and he wants to spread it as a rap performer.  Shane Mac has performed in lower east side Manhattan, New York at Club Rio, Maryland Kutchers in Bethel, New York and Sounds Asylum in Middletown, New York.  Recently he has been on stage in Atlanta, Baltimore, South Carolina and Kutshers, and has a show scheduled for April 23 in Secaucus, New Jersey. His recording label is Starlite White Flag Inc.  Shane Mac has made his main goal to make people feel good, shed light on his opinion on life, things he went through or seen others go through.  He would also likeʻs to make music so he never knowʻs what its going to come up next but to put out project after project.  Everybody wants to be heard and Shane Mac has a chance to be heard so these are Macʻs aspirations and he thanks God for that.  The songs and locations released by Shane Mac are as followed: http://www.reverbnation.com/artist/complete_profile/980687#!/shanemac12 "Escape" by Shane Mac, "Emotional" by Shane Mac and LenNY KRAVITZ by Shane Mac ft.
